Willis’s love affair with wine began while trying to make some extra money in university working for a Wine and Beer shop near Aspen Woods. The store owners often gave employees passes to tastings and events, where he eventually acquired an affinity for wines.

Jeff’s love of wine and food was born out of his ten years in the restaurant industry where he worked every job imaginable, from Dishwasher to General Manager. As co-owner of Vine Arts Wine and Spirits Jeff’s vision for the store is all about passion.

A trained sommelier with nearly 20 years working in the industry, Andrew has made it his personal mission to ensure more glasses are filled with Grower Champagne.

Mollie Risa is a wine professional, writer, and comedian who has been a member of the Vine Arts team since February 2020. She's a big fan of full bodied white wines, reposado tequila, and wearing leopard print. Come see her at Vine Arts 17th Ave where she would love to nerd out with you about Jura wines, herbaceous roses, or any red wines that taste kind of like soil.

Chris is an aficionado of all things delicious and a recovering BOH restaurant worker. They started their journey in the sales side of the liquor industry with beer while pursuing their Certified Cicerone certification, however their heart quickly grew to encompass fine wine, vermouth, amaro, and mezcal. With their signature warm and affable personality, they're always quick to recommend some crispy beers, a fun and fresh bottle of wine, or some complex and thought-provoking cocktails. They love to pair food and wine, and can often be found extolling the virtues of a little snack with everything.

Born and raised on a farm outside of Edmonton, Jess enjoys the electricity of the city, where she found herself taking on many different roles in the restaurant scene. After moving to the Okanagan for a few years, she discovered just how vast and exciting the world of wine could be. Now the General Manager of Vine Arts Edmonton, she takes joy in helping people explore and discover new wines.

A self-proclaimed “horse girl,” Jess has a soft spot for rustic charm, her favorite tasting note being, fittingly, barnyard.
