Wittman 100 Hills Riesling Trocken

An excellent  Riesling from one of Germany’s top winemaking families. The Wittmann’s have been making wines in the Rheinhessen village of Westhofen for 350 years! For fifteen generations they have accrued incredible holdings of vines and winemaking knowhow. The estate was certified organic in 1990 and biodynamic in 2004. The 100 Hügel (meaning 100 Hills) line of wines is made from grapes harvested from organic vineyards farmed by like minded growers in southern Rheinhessen. Fermented to dryness with crunchy acidity, this Riesling shows racy notes of ripe limes, pineapples, and honeydew.
