Weninger’s Kalkofen comes from a south-facing site in Ritzing, in Mittelburgenland. The 2015 Blaufränkisch combines bright berry fruit, lively acidity and grippy tannins, with a chalky texture that reflects the vineyard’s limestone-rich soils.
