Located in the village of Kiedrich, the estate consists of 90 hectares of vineyards. Their top sites, Kiedrich Turmberg and Kiedrich Gräfenberg, are some of the finest in the region. The vines are farmed according to organic principles and the grapes harvested by hand. Wilhelm Weil is the fourth generation of his family to manage the estate. He recently introduced the “Junior” line of wines, which are made from grapes grown in the neighbouring region of Rheinhessen.
This is how the winery describes the Weissburgunder/Pinot Blanc - "An engaging bridge between Riesling and the Pinot family. Our Pinot Blanc presents an ideal juxtaposition of elegance, freshness and delicate acidity. This style and character are reflected not only in the vineyard and fruit, but in the vinification as well. This is an oak-free zone, with a wine focused on freshness and momentum. The aromas linger between green and yellow fruits. Moderate alcohol levels and a mouth-watering drinkability make it as equally appealing solo as it is with food — from the first glass to the last!"
