La Raspa is a lively and tremendously fragrant white wine made from Muscat of Alexandría and Doradilla, a variety indigenous to the Spanish island of Malaga. Described by winemakers Juan Muñoz and Vicente Inat as their “county wine”, the grapes were hand harvested from their youngest vineyards. When we first tried this wine we were immediately struck by how fresh it was. If a lime margarita could be a wine, this would be it. Intense aromas of jasmine and wild flowers are complemented by salty flavors of lime and mandarin orange. La Raspa has poolside wine written all over it!
