Wines which are fruity and convivial, Via Terra Selection is the playful side of Spain’s Edetària winery. Located in southern Catalonia’s Terra Alta region, Edetària is the personal wine project of Joan Àngel Lliberia. A veteran winemaker, Lliberia sources grapes from 35 hectares of largely organically farmed old vines (up 50 years old). For his Via Terra Selection tier of wines, he uses straightforward winemaking techniques to craft wines with immediate appeal.

Bright ruby red in color, on the nose this Grenache shows youthful aromas of fresh picked garden strawberry, raspberry, morello cherry and rose petal. Fruity and medium bodied, the palate is stuffed with plummy red-fruit flavors and soft tannins. A hint of chili-pepper lingers on the pleasant and refreshing finish. A great wine to enjoy with or without food, we suggest serving it with pinchos morunos (Spanish pork skewers.)
