As described by the distillery - "At Tobermory we produce two distinct single malts made for half the year each: a non-peated Tobermory and a heavily-peated (30 – 40ppm phenol) Ledaig. Each malt reflects our inspiring island – from the bright and colourful Tobermory with vibrant fruit, spice and a subtle salty notes, reflective of our harbour waters, to the more robust, peated Ledaig, with sweet smoke and earthy notes.... Tobermory 12 year old has a palette of vibrant fruit and spice with a subtle saltiness reflective of our harbour waters here at Tobermory."
