*Pick up orders are available next day for pick up"A fascinating wine in that most of the base fermented in French oak barrique, 1/3 being new oak. The ferments are natural as usual, with maturation in the barrel being on the lees, unfined and unfiltered, without additions. I would have loved to taste this vibrant white Pinot Noir before it was brought to the bottle for its second fermentation! The second fermentation then delivers us this wild take on a Blanc de Noirs, tactile and excitingly unique. There is no dosage nor added SO2, yet the wine is rich and balanced and perfectly sound. The nose is spicy, with apple and pear and orange peel and wild berry and sweet spice and hazelnut aromas. The palate ranges from rich pear to zesty cherry skins, superbly finessed. It's a dense and sinuous wine with superb minerality that lingers long after every sip." - Vino al Vino
