Michael will offer a deep dive into his experience visiting over 40 of the top winemaking families in Chianti, and detailing their stories. Guests will taste through a great range of wines from Chianti, including:

Here is a short bio from Michael Godel:
I've been a critic and partner at WineAlign since 2013. I have been working with the Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico since 2016, as their educator in Canada. Two and a half years ago I set out researching and interviewing for this book, based on the concept of introducing and celebrating the next generation of Chianti Classico producers. The book profiles 44 families in 44 essays, from Antinori to the smallest estate no one has ever heard of. Set to publish by Friesen Press, and will release in late September.
