*Pick up orders are available next day for pick upOreno was first created in 1999 by Dr. Antonio Moretti Cuseri, an avid winelover, who, during his frequent travels, was impressed by the elegance and finesse of Bordeaux grapes, so much so, that he decided to plant the varieties at his own estate. He grafted established vineyards with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, which adapt extremely well to the terroirs of Tuscany. The name Oreno comes from a stream that crosses the estate, precisely in an area rich in clay, where our Merlot vines grow. Our Cabernet grapes are planted to soils more suited to them, in vineyards that have a greater presence of pebbles, which ensure excellent drainage and self-regulate based on temperature and humidity. The perfect complement to the blend is Petit Verdot, traditionally used to add spicy notes and a more intense flavor. While the wine is inspired by Bordeaux blends, it has a strong Tuscan soul.
