What happens when chocolate is paired with a wine and a spirit? The results may surprise you!
In this tasting, we’ll explore three single-origin chocolates with thoughtfully selected wine and spirit pairings. Throughout the evening, we’ll guide you through each combination and share insights into both the beverages and the craft of chocolate making. Along the way, you’ll discover how wine and spirits highlight different notes in cacao.
The evening will be co-led by Antoine Lavoie, founder and chocolate maker behind Delavoye Chocolate Maker. After serving 14 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, Antoine discovered his passion for chocolate and trained at École Chocolat to master the bean-to-bar process. His vision is to craft chocolate with purpose, guided by values of diversity, sustainability, and community.
*Please note this tasting will take place at our Edmonton location at 10961 124 ST NW, Edmonton, Alberta. The tasting will include a selection of cheese from our friends at Meuwly's. Due to the high demand and limited space for our tastings, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another guest if you cannot join us, but we do not offer refunds for our tastings.
