Some Young Punks are part of the vanguard of New Australia. Winemakers seeking out a new expression of Aussie wine. Colin McBryde doesn’t look like a conventional winemaker. He has tattoos, lots of them. He also has a PhD. So does his partner Jen Gardner. Their wines are intensely artisanal and expertly crafted. Production is traditional with minimal intervention, indigenous yeast for fermentation, and no filtration. By sourcing fruit from across the breadth of South Australia, Some Young Punks defies preconceived notions of Australian wines.

Made from a blend of 85% Shiraz and 15% Mataro from a couple vineyards in the Clare Valley, this red blend is packed with flavor. Created for immediate enjoyment, it offers dense notes of blackberry, black cherry, camphor, violet and bacon fat. Lavish flavors and soft tannins make this a real crowd pleaser.
