Medium ruby red in color, on the nose you find savory aromas of grilled red plum, bramble, black olive and bacon fat. The medium bodied palate leads with meaty blackberry flavors, fine grained tannins, and mouth puckering acidity. Further notes of graphite and anise stand out. The finish is lingering and spicy.
