*Pick up orders are available next day for pick upIn the words of the distillery - "The renown Victorian bartender, Shawn Soole of S2 Hospitality Concepts asked Sheringham Distillery to collaborate in producing a Vancouver Island Akvavit (a.k.a. Aquavit) after he fell in love with this Obscure Nordic Spirit traveling in Iceland. Vancouver Island & the Gulf Islands are known for a spirit of self reliance, which was also found in the many Scandinavian settlers (from Norway, Sweden, Denmark & Finland) that homesteaded this rugged coast, living off the land and ocean from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s. From the land we added caraway, dill and other botanicals; from the ocean we added Dakini Tidal Wilds hand-harvested sustainable Winged Kelp (Alaria marginata)."
