Founded in 2005 by husband and wife team, Sean and Nicole Minor, this winery creates classically styled, yet well-priced California wines. The couple have partnered with experienced grape growers to source sustainably farmed grapes from some of the state's premier wine appellations. Their consulting enologist, Will Bucklin, is a graduate of UC Davis and previously worked at renowned wineries such as Chateau Lafite Rothschild and King Estate. This wine is made from 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Merlot harvested from vineyards in Paso Robles. The grapes were destemmed, gently crushed, then fermented in closed-tip stainless steel fermentation tanks. For aging the wine was rested in neutral French oak barrels.
