Located in the village of Kiedrich, the estate consists of 90 hectares of vineyards. Their top sites, Kiedrich Turmberg and Kiedrich Gräfenberg, are some of the finest in the region. The vines are farmed according to organic principles and the grapes harvested by hand. Wilhelm Weil is the fourth generation of his family to manage the estate. He recently introduced the “Junior” line of wines, which are made from grapes grown in the neighbouring region of Rheinhessen. Best known for white wines, Germany is fast building a reputation for high quality Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). The Robert Weil Junior Spätburgunder Unique is light in body with elegant tannins and fresh acidity. In the glass it expresses delicate notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, and hibiscus.
