Quinta do Ameal Loureiro

These crisp whites are dry, refreshing and oh-so-easy drinking. This section includes classics like Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio, along with unique gems from around the world. Perfect picnic wines and porch pounders!
Quinta do Ameal is located just north of Porto in the region of Vinho Verde. The winery is owned by Pedro Araujo, whose family previously owned Ramos Pinto, a well known producer of Port. Araujo's estate sits in a pretty area in the heart of the Lima Valley. Situated where the Lima river meets the sea, the area benefits from cool maritime breezes. It is the perfect place to make crisp white wine.
This little gem is made from organically grown Loureiro grapes. Charming with only 11% of alcohol, it is refreshingly acidic with citrus notes and salt minerality.
