Farmed in Friuli on Italy's border with Slovenia, this blend of Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer is lively and juicy with elegant minerality, showing white peach, green apple, honeydew, kiwi, elderflower and a dry, clean finish.
While aromatic varieties don't usually work for sparkling as the CO2 intensifies the aromas, when removing alcohol, other things can go with it.
So, starting with more intense varieties leads to a balanced style.
