Poppy Cabernet Sauvignon

Poppy, located in Monterey Wine Country, was founded by the Silva Family, who in 2003 endeavored to channel their passions into a carefully crafted wine with a focus on Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. 

Poppy wines are produced from vineyards located in the Santa Lucia Highlands, Arroyo Seco, Monterey and Paso Robles Appellations nestled along California’s Central Coast. Our Careful selection of vineyards ensures that you experience the best of California in every glass.

This wine displays blueberry, black cherry, and currant flavors with nuances of licorice, violets, and cigar box all wrapped together with a dash of vanilla and mocha. Medium to full-bodied, well-balanced, with soft tannins, this wine shows tremendous dimension, with a seamless finish that lingers throughout the palate. Pair with dishes more on the savory side, lamb and roasted meats. This wine is designed to drink well within four years of its vintage date however it will be at its best starting around 2020.
