A smooth entry leads to a round, off-dry medium-bodied palate with toffee and baked fruit flavours. Finished with a long, smooth brown spice and crème brulée fade. A delicious, fruit-driven artisanal style that displays a long finish.
This VSOP stayed on average 7 years in the wine storehouses of Segonzac. It waited quietly letting the air and the wood do their work. Gradually it developed it's beautiful golden yellow colour. Take time to let your glass get some fresh air a few minutes before savouring it.
On the nose the alcohol is discreet and gives way to light notes of apricot, and passion fruit. Older than a classic VSOP, in mouth, it keeps its vigour and the volume, aromas of vanilla, honey and wood. A very pleasant softness with notes of cinnamon and spices.
