Managed today by winemaker Samuel Guibert and his four brothers, the estate works with a neighboring cooperative in Sète to produce well priced wines that meet their high standards. Named after the patron saint of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, the Moulin de Gassac wines are a great entry-point to this benchmark producer. The “Classic” Rouge is made from 60% Syrah, 30% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, it’s a wine that delivers lush black fruit flavors, round mouthfeel and measured Mediterranean spice.
