Its vineyards sit high in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, where a cooler microclimate allows the grapes to ripen slowly and develop plenty of freshness.
The estate takes a low intervention approach in both the vineyard and cellar, using natural treatments, spontaneous fermentation, and minimal sulfur. No fertilizers are used.
Bara Gwin is a vibrant blend of Cinsault, Lledoner Pelut (aka “Hairy Grenache”), and Syrah. Fresh, juicy, and naturally fermented, it shows bright black fruit with a lovely herbal edge. Bottled with no added sulfites, this is an easygoing red that is especially delicious with tacos.
