In 1907 the grandparents of Nadège and Sylvain moved to Maubet Farm in Noulens in the heart of the Armagnac. Given to the cultivation of grape vines, maize, cereals, and cattle, the wine domaine wasn’t established until the 1980’s. Today Maison Fontan produces a range of characterful Armagnacs and Côtes de Gascogne wines.
The Maubet rosé is a dry and light wine made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat and Merlot.
