Matthieu Barret makes Petit Ours from Syrah grown around Visan in France’s southern Rhône Valley. Organically farmed grapes ferment and mature in concrete to preserve their fruit character. Blackberry and black-cherry notes meet smooth tannins and a touch of black pepper on the finish.
