Primitivo thrives in the warm climate of Puglia. Believed to have originated in Croatia, it is the same grape variety as Zinfandel. This wine is made from grapes grown in vineyards with calcareous clay soils at an elevation of 50 meters. After harvest, the fruit underwent 15 days of skin maceration before fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks. Named after Don Tommaso, also known as Tumà, this wine displays a brilliant ruby red color and expressive notes of blackberry, black plum, cocoa, and cinnamon.
