*Pick up orders are available next day for pick upMaloof Wines is a husband-and-wife winery team based in Forest Grove, Oregon. Originally based in Philadelphia, Bee and Ross Maloof moved to Oregon in 2017. Previously employed as a sommelier, Ross was first introduced to winemaking in 2015 when he worked the harvest at Day Wines in Dundee. The following year he decided to come back with his then-fiancée Bee Selman, a materials engineer. Today the couple bottle a small amount of wines produced naturally.
"Haaken Lenai Vineyard (originally Thistle Vineyard) was planted in 2000 by Jon & Laura Jennison. Last year it was purchased by Cody Wright who continues to lease the only two blocks of Pinot Gris to Ross & Bee. The vineyard sits at 700 feet above sea level in the Dundee Hills AVA. Soils here are classic Jory. The grapes were direct pressed into neutral barrel for both fermentation and élevage. After nine months on lees the wine is racked and bottled without fining or filtering. 316 cases were produced." - Erik Mercier, Juice Imports
