*Pick up orders are available next day for pick upCreated by Jordan Kubek and Tyler Knight, Lightning Rock launched their first vintage in 2017. Before opening their own winery the couple were employed at Okanagan Crush Pad, where Jordan was in charge of the sparkling wine program. Jordan’s father, Ron Kubeck, recently purchased two Summerland vineyards (Elysia vineyard and Canyonview vineyard), and this is the source of most of their fruit. The couple also purchased a derelict vineyard, which they have been nursing back to health. Their wines are produced naturally with only a small amount of added sulphur.
"The grapes for this cuvée were hand harvested from their estate vineyard located beneath Giants Head in Summerland. This particular block of vineyard is planted on exposed granite bedrock. The grapes were gently crushed, and the juice spontaneously fermented in concrete. After six months on lees the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered. 12% ABV" - Erik Mercier, Juice Imports
