Ladiva Dry Furmint Tokaj

Owned by the same family that owns Château Clinet in Pomerol, Château Pajzos produces a range of both dry and traditional sweet Tokaji wines. The estate spans 100 hectares in the heart of Tokaji. Of that around 55 hectares are planted to vineyards. Ronan Laborde and his winemaking team have adapted their methods to encourage the development of botrytis, essential for Aszú wines. It can take up 30 passages in the vineyard to harvest the grapes at optimal ripeness. For the Ladiva dry Furmint, they use grapes unaffected by botrytis to create a crisp white wine with lively citrus fruit flavors and zesty acidity. Notes of lemon and green apple are complemented by subtle hints of flint and green pepper.
