*Pick up orders are available next day for pick upLocated in the picturesque Val Trebbia, Il Poggiarello is a 20 hectare wine estate that was created by the Ferrari and Perini families in the 1980’s, but their shared winemaking history dates back to 1882. The vineyards are situated in the hills above the Emilia-Romagna city of Piacenza, with a view of the Statto plains. Farming is done according to organic principles and in the cellar winemaker Paolo Perrini fashions the wines with a straightforward approach that favors varietal typicity and full expression of terroir.
Vibrant and intensely floral, "La Malvagia" presents the brisk side of Malvasia. Expect pretty notes of citrus fruit, orange blossom and Spring herbs.
