Created by Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe in 2007, Gut Oggau is a leader in the movement towards sustanable and natural winemaking in Austria's Burgenland wine region. Working with vines that haven't seen pesticides or chemical treatments for over 20 years, they are able to bottle wines with incredible life and vigour.

"40-year-old Gewürztraminer vines are the muse for this bottling. They are planted on limestone and sand and tends to yield less than two tons per hectare. 2/3rds of the grapes are destemmed and pressed directly into 500L neutral barrels to ferment. The final 1/3rd is fermented on skins for several weeks. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered." - Juice Imports
