Glup Rose

Longaví Wines is a collaborative project between Chilean born Julio Bouchon, and South African born David Nieuwoudt. Julio is a journalist by profession, while David is the owner and oenologist of Cederberg winery. Their focus is on vineyards located in the south of Chile, where many old, ungrafted vines may still be found. Having started out in 2012, their appreciation of less glamorous grape varieties has put them in contrast to Chile's larger producers, which favor clear-cut international wine styles.

"From an incredible place in Maule, from vines more than 100 years old, this is a field blend of Grenache, Mouvèdre and País. This wine has a lot of character with fresh fruit and violets on the nose and the palate, and a great texture that represents the specific area." - Glup
