The Garnier family makes Calvados in the Normandy countryside near Tinchebray. Its 12-year bottling spends at least twelve years in oak, building on the apple spirit with dried-fruit, hazelnut and caramel notes. The wood is well integrated, leaving a rounded, mature Calvados for an unhurried glass.
