Don Mateo de la Sierra carries on a family mezcal-making tradition in Michoacán, Mexico. Its Cupreata is made from the region’s cupreata agave, cooked in a volcanic-stone earth oven and distilled in a Filipino-style still. Fruity notes and gentle smoke lead the flavour.
