The bright purple red color foreshadows the juicy aromas and flavors which await you in the glass. On the nose notes of stewed red plum, strawberry and cranberry are complemented by notes of herbes de provence, liquorice and cracked black pepper. Fine grained tannins and moderate acidity fill out the medium bodied palate. On the juicy finish there’s a nice hint of espresso bean and garrigue. Pair this wine with bistro style steak tartare and fresh frisée salad.
