A 20-year-old Bruichladdich from Decadent Drinks’ Old Islay range. This small-batch release marries whisky from a 2005 first-fill bourbon barrel with whisky from a 2002 first-fill ex-Sauternes barrique. Its appeal lies in that unusual combination of two vintages and contrasting cask histories—a distinctive bottle for someone exploring mature independent Islay releases.
