Located in McLaren Vale with around 200 hectares of vines, the winery also produces wines made from grapes sourced from the Adelaide Hills wine region and other parts of the Fleurieu zone. Standard bearers for McLaren Vale, the winery gained cult status during the 1960’s. Specializing in Rhône varieties, they farm their vines according to organic and biodynamic principles. A true eccentric, Chester is described as the “Willy Wonka of wine”.
