*Pick up orders are available next day for pick upChiara Condello is making waves in the Italian wine world for her game changing wines! Born in Forlí, Chiara comes from a winemaking family. Her father Francesco , a successful businessman from Calabria, created Condé in the early 2000’s. Chiara initially chose to pursue a career in economics, but the pull of the vines was too strong. Starting with a separate project of her own, Chiara eventually joined her father at the family winery. Their organically farmed vineyards are located in Predappio, a small village situated between the Appennini mountains and the Adriatic sea. Sangiovese di Predappio (aka Sangiovese Piccolo) has been grown in this area of Emilia-Romagna since the 1600’s. Inspired by the great Sangiovese maestro Giulio Gambelli, Chiara masterfully crafts wines that go toe-to-toe with anything being made in Tuscany today.
The “Al Caleri” cuvée is made from Sangiovese di Predappio harvested from fresher parcels. Naturally fermented with a little carbonic maceration, it was aged in stainless steel tanks to highlight fruit freshness and floral aromas.
