Aromas are expressive and layered, featuring ripe red fruits such as raspberry, red plum, and black cherry. Subtle secondary notes of sweet spices like vanilla and clove from the French oak aging. Hints of fresh herbs, such as thyme and bay leaf, add complexity, along with a touch of mocha and cedar.
Medium to full-bodied with a velvety texture, thanks to its moderate aging in French oak. Bright red fruit flavors dominate, with juicy redcurrant, cherry, and a hint of wild strawberry. The oak imparts subtle notes of spice, chocolate, and a delicate smokiness, enhancing the wine’s structure without overpowering the primary fruit. Well-integrated tannins, with refreshing acidity that balances the richness of the fruit. Finishes long and elegant, with lingering notes of red berries, a hint of vanilla, and a touch of minerality typical of Priorat.
