*Pick up orders are available next day for pick upHailing from one of finest vintages Tuscany has ever seen, the 2016 Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a wine of impeccable quality. Produced from fruit harvested from vineyards in the northern part of the Montalcino appellation, the grapes were selected personally by winemaker Massimo Bracalente. For aging, the wine rested 2 years in Slavonian and French barrels. Caparzo only makes Riserva Brunello in the best years, and given the excitement around 2016, this wine will certainly prove to be one of the best wines they’ve ever made.

“Seamlessly constructed, Caparzo’s Riserva combines fruit from the estate’s original vineyard in the far north of Montalcino with La Casa on the Montosoli hill, as well as Il Cassero and La Caduta which are in the south to southwest of the denomination. Under a sheen of polished wood, red and black berries, forest undergrowth and mint emerge. Plump, crunchy currants pack the mid-palate while textured tannins fill out the perimeters and provide a satisfying chew on the finish. Pepper and clove linger.” - 95 points, Decanter Magazine
