Caves Jean Bourdy is one of the oldest domaines in the Jura region of France. Located in the small village of Arlay, Jean Francois and Jean Phillipe Bourdy are the 15th generation to make wine at the 500 year old cellars. Known for their astonishing wine library and cellar program which has wines from almost every vintage back to 1781, they continue to make wine the old fashioned way. Blessed with fruit from some of the best terroir in the Jura, they use 80 year old barrels for fermentation and aging, believing that patient and meticulous winemaking results in wines that thoroughly express the land on which it is grown.

Wildly popular everywhere, the Douce Jeanne is a Chardonnay with 2 weeks maceration and aging in stainless steel. It’s a light orange in colour with pink tinges. Aromas and flavours of grapefruit, spice and tangerine; is medium bodied, tannins a little grippy, really fresh, long and zippy. Squeaky clean.
