Georges Lochardet created 20 hectares of land in the early twentieth century with vines from Santenay until the Clos Vougeot. After a few years of glorious history, the manor began to split and significantly reduced its size. In the late 1980s, Brigitte and Christian Heitz decided to create a new Domaine and to leave a legacy for their son, Armand, to take up and follow in their footsteps. Armand studied winemaking in Switzerland and worked with Dutruy Brothers and Château Brane-Cantenac (Margaux) . Returning to Burgundy in 2012, he slowly became the head of the winery and managed five production areas (Chevalier-Montrachet, Chassagne Premier Cru La Maltroie, Pommard Premier Cru Clos des Poutures and Bourgogne Chardonnay). He bought some land at the Meursault, Pommard and Volnay's from his uncles and aunts to expand the area. The vineyards are fully processed organically and harvested in small boxes to minimize the grinding of the grapes.

Made with the same care that goes into the Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines, this wine has all the classic character of lightly oaked Chardonnay.
