Antica Terra Coriolis Pinot Noir

"There are, every year, a selection of barrels that somehow don’t find harmony with the cuvées that we craft as Ceras, Botanica and Antikythera. A world away from the barrels that get declassified and sold off in bulk or dumped, often, down the drain, these barrels are often some of the most precious in the cellar (including barrels from our estate, Shea vineyard, Seven Springs.) By segregating these barrels, we ensure that the wine that gets bottled under the Antica Terra name is, year after year, the very highest expression possible in any given vintage. The 2015 vintage was the warmest on record in the state of Oregon. We had nice cool evenings that helped produce some acidity to balance the wines. Coriolis has very expressive aromas of Cedar, red and black fruits, and forest floor. Lingering dark cherry is balanced by lifting acidity for a lengthy finish of supple and silky texture. 811 cases produced" - Antica Terra
