Amrut Old Port Rum

Amrut Distillery is family owned and operated, located in Bangalore, India operating since 1948. Amrut buys bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace and Jack Daniels.

Old Port Rum is known as an incredibly drinkable rum with rich flavors. The color is a bright copper and it’s often used to make delicious tiki drinks. On the nose, you’ll smell sweet aromas and flavors of pistachio brittle and spumoni ice cream. As you begin sipping, the rum is silky dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body on the palate. The finish is complex, and you’ll taste long, crystallized ginger, nutmeg, and bubblegum spice.
