As the proud exclusive retailers of BK Wines in Alberta, we are delighted to announce that new wines have landed!

If you haven't tasted Brendon and Kirstyn Keys' innovative takes on classic varietals you're missing out! The husband and wife team situated in the Basket Range of Adelaide Hills of South Australia have been crafting minimalist, distinctive, and daring wines in the Australian innovative wine hub since 2007 and have been a favourite of ours since Jesse and Brendon's first meeting years ago. Embracing winemaking as an art form, BK Wines passionately crafts subtly nuanced wines using only the finest fruit and employing a minimalistic approach in the process.

They meticulously select fruit from small vineyards that beautifully reflect the distinctive qualities of their plots. BK Wines epitomizes the harmony of minimal intervention and exceptional quality, delivering natural, balanced wines of unparalleled finesse.

These are wines for wine lovers, "...focused on Quality and Creativity not Conformity"

EXPLORE THE NEW DROP

Ego is the Enemy
Pinot Gris $36.78 (+tax/deposit)

100% Pinot Gris from the Scary Gully vineyard. A blend of wines that have gone into two separate concrete fermentation eggs, one an earlier pick with a finer palate and the other later and broader. Full and rich with fruit purity on the nose and a waxy, honeycomb palate. A big, lush, multi-layered mouthful of wine.

Gut Feeling
70% Chardonnay, 30% Riesling $36.78 (+tax/deposit)

Teaming with Forlorn Hope Winery, BK crafted a bold Chardonnay-Riesling blend inspired by Jura's distinctive wines. The rich Chardonnay roundness complements Riesling's lively finish, creating a dynamic flavour profile—light, smashable, with lime on the nose and crisp green apple on the palate. An instant staff favourite and an absolute must-try!

The Fall
Chardonnay $45.33

Timelessly elegant, rounded, and well-structured, this Chardonnay opens with jasmine on the nose and a balanced palate of sweet sandalwood, spiced oak, and grapefruit pith. 100% Carey Gully Chardonnay was handpicked and wild-yeast fermented, aged ten months in 25% new French oak, unfiltered, unfined, and limited to 100 dozen bottles. An exceptional release!

Swaby
Chardonnay $45.33

Crafted solely from Piccadilly Valley Chardonnay, Swaby captivates with wild aromas, hints of flinty graphite, florals, and savoury herbs. Expect stony minerality and a subtle saline touch. Understated yet expressive, it's approachable now with the potential for graceful aging. Limited production makes it a rare find—we've already secured one for the cellar.

Carte Blanche White
95% Chardonnay, a touch of Pinot Gris, Grüner, and Riesling $36.78

Inspired by white Burgundy, Carte Blanche blends four distinct Chardonnays, including one aged on skins and another with lees contact, creating a vibrant, subtly oaked wine. With 95% Chardonnay, a bit of Gris, a smidge of Grüner, a drop of Riesling, it offers a lively, sophisticated profile akin to Burgundy's finest. Very zippy! A must-try for Burgundy lovers.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon 44.55

BK's first Cabernet Sauvignon since 2017. From biodynamic, dry-grown old vines in McLaren Vale’s Blewitt Springs. It's 100% whole bunch fermented in 30% new oak French barriques. Vibrantly green and herbaceous, with notes of plum and sour cherry, it's bright, fresh, and delightfully crunchy. Super limited production, and we're thrilled to be the first outside Australia to offer it for sale!

Amphora
70% Syrah, 30% Gamay $36.78

This wine combines the youthful liveliness of Beaujolais Nouveau with the intricate personality typical of the Adelaide Hills. Aged for 10 months in terracotta amphorae, it boasts silky tannins and a vibrant medley of ripe summer berries, a hint of plum, and refreshing cranberries. A unique blend of flavours and textures–perfect for your next BBQ.

Gower
Pinot Noir $45.33

This vintage offers a fresh, youthful expression of Pinot Noir with a rugged murkiness. Deep notes of forest pine and earthy mushroom. Impeccably cultivated fruit from the meticulously tended Lenswood vineyards, grapes are handpicked and a whole bunch fermented with wild yeast, one month on skins, aged 10 months in 25% new French oak, and bottled unfiltered and unfined. A limited release of just 200 dozen bottles. A must-buy!

Skin N' Bones
Pinot Noir $36.78

The 2023 Pinot Noirs from Adelaide Hills defy expectations set by a challenging season. Despite initial concerns of ripening before autumn's grip, the wine surprises with a smooth, classic profile. Aromas of Burgundian barns and hay lead to a palate of generous cherry juice, starting jubilantly and ending with a dry, elegant finish. With 30 days on skins and 10% new French oak for 10 months, it's pure enjoyment in every glass.

Carte Blanche Rouge
Syrah $36.78

The light, dry red of the summer, Carte Blanche Rouge is super smashable, quirky, and juicy from refreshing Syrah aged on its lees. Bursting with fresh, assertive cherries and red fruits, you'll want to sip from lunch to sundown. Play around with temperature and glassware to see how it changes the experience. Perfect patio pounder!
