The name says it all. Tim Wildman holds the extremely tough-to-achieve, prestigious title of Master of Wine. But Tim is unstuffy, unpretentious, and certainly one of the most disruptive MWs out there.
Amongst his other ventures, which include taking wine professionals on educational tours of Australia's wine regions, founding WineTutor.tv, and establishing the consultancy Winetec, Tim is passionate about crafting deliciously gluggable pét-nats. Reminding us that good wine needn't be stuffy, Tim notes "99% of people really don’t care about wine. 1% care too much."
Under the Wildman Wine label, Tim makes Astro Bunny and Piggy Pop, two pét-nats made of Italian grapes grown in South Australia. These wines are as fun and frivolous as their names imply. Sheer enjoyment is the name of the game, so grab a bottle and remember wine is supposed to be fun.
