A long time Vine Arts favourite, BK Wines always gets it right. Equal parts playful and precise, BK Wines makes fantastic wine (and cidre!). After travelling around the globe learning from masters in the wine trade, husband and wife team Brendan and Kirstyn Keys, set up shop in Adelaide Hills, sourcing fruit from tiny vineyards that express the language of the land. In the cellar, BK takes a minimalistic approach. The resulting wines are pure, showing vintage and vineyard expressively.

Chardonnay Pet-Nat 2023 $32.60

"Sometimes spring is so positively overpowered with aromatics, it’s hard to know which one to pick out. Our Chardonnay Pet Nat is driven by pear blossom and lollies on the nose, with an almost whimsical take on springtime excess. Like a Hokie Pokie ice cream crunch on the palate with a creamy, vibrant bead. An enticing, apt representation of the season and the varietal with bounce in its step."

Pinot Noir Pet-Nat 2023 $32.60

"This gentle little gem is due to harden up with a bit of age. Currently very creamy and candied on the edges – like the luscious squirt of flavour inside a juicy chew. With time, the acidity of this wine will retain those tart textures while the Pinot Noir fruit characters round out and deepen. Cherry lollies and dried cranberries with a bit quirkiness."

Saignee Pinot Noir 2023 $32.90

"Several vintages ago now we shifted gears away from Provençale-style rosé to saignée preferring this Tavel-esque early glimpse into the free-run Pinot Noir of the vintage. Musky and food-loving the flavour-profile of this year’s Saignée is meaty roses, strawberries, and Negroni with a soft rolling mouthfeel atop an intense linear acidic focus. While we may never say never to rosé in our future, a vintage like this makes us pretty certain we’ll always say forever to our Saignée."

Grenache Nouveau $35.35

"Grenache is a truly cosmopolitan grape with a presence in all corners of a viticultural world, and – as luck would have it – some of the most beautiful examples can be found not so very far from our neck of the global woods. Dry-grown bush-vines just over the border in Blewitt Springs. Treated similarly to our Saignée with a very short time on skins, yielding a very pretty wine with a focus on finesse and elegance. White pepper and firm, Vega-cherry aromas and flavours over a dense, chalky palate." Limited Stock!

Cidre $29.99

"Our cidre is in its 4th year, made with seven heritage apple varieties from a block in Tasmania, and grown on a small nearby property that we can practically see from our deck in Basket Range. We pick in February, pop it into the cold store until grape harvest, and then it re-emerges to join in with the fermentation gala when there are yeasts aplenty floating throughout the winery.  An umami finish with juniper at the back palate and notes of star anise and five spice give it just enough complexity to sway the cidre snobs at the backyard gathering."
