From the masterminds behind the famed Barolo estate, Vietti, comes a new and wonderous project highlighting the majesty of possibility that is Oltrepò Pavese.
After selling Vietti in 2016, siblings Francesco, Lorenzo, and Caterina Cordero left the Langhe hills behind and planted fresh roots in Oltrepò Pavese, a wild, underrated corner of southern Lombardy. Surrounded by steep slopes, old vines, and organic vineyards, the Corderos are making expressive, quietly confident wines that are grounded and fresh. Inspired by the legend of St. George and the dragon, they named their new project Cordero San Giorgio, a tribute to slaying new challenges.
These bottles have never been in Alberta before, and Vine Arts is the only place you’ll find them. Quantities are extremely limited, so grab them while you can!

100% Pinot Grigio
Bright, clean, and downright delicious. No oak, no malolactic fermentation, just cold ferment and time on the lees for texture. Pale straw in the glass with notes of pear, jasmine, and crisp green apple. The palate is dry, zippy, and super well-balanced. Great for sipping on its own or pairing with white meats, light pastas, or literally any fish dish. Simple, elegant, and quietly confident.

100% Pinot Noir
Old vines, clay soil, and meticulous care in the vineyard give this Pinot a real sense of place. It's hand-picked, partly whole-cluster fermented in steel to let the fruit shine. Light, earthy, and super fresh, with soft tannins and notes of wild berries and forest floor. Great with roast veg, simple pastas, or on its own when you want something thoughtful but unfussy.
