*Pick up orders are available next day for pick upFounded by Anthony Hamilton Russell in 1994, Southern Right is a boutique Sauvignon Blanc and Pinotage specialist located in the cool-climate Hemel-en-Aarde Valley wine region. Their Sauvignon Blanc is in fact widely considered to be one of the finest expressions of the grape variety in South Africa. It’s a wine that juxtaposes “Old World” minerality and length with “New World” texture and body. The color in the glass is brilliant straw yellow. On the nose zesty aromas of fresh squeezed grapefruit, passionfruit, and gooseberry lead to hints of straw and crushed rock. The wine saw a judicious touch of barrel aging, so the palate's prominent acidity is matched by texture and volume. A touch of ginger spice blends nicely on the finish. A delicious wine to enjoy with cheese and charcuterie.
