"Domaine des Marnes Blanche was started by Pauline & Géraud Fromont when they were in their early twenties. Barely out of winemaking school, the couple purchased land in Cesancey, a town in the Southern Jura. Named after the area’s most illustrious soil type, they made a wide variety of styles: from ouillé Chardonnay’s to oxidative Savagnins, and lithe reds from autochthonous varieties.

The grapes for this cuvée come from a plot in Cesancey planted in 1983 on red marl and limestone. The grapes are whole-cluster fermented for eight days before being pressed off into neutral barrel for élevage. The wine is bottled in August without SO2." - Juice Imports
