Domaine de Majas Rouge

The Domaine de Majas Rouge is made from a 50/50 blend of Carignan and Grenache. Spontaneously fermented with 100% whole clusters, the juice was macerated on the skins for 2 to 3 days. Vinified and matured entirely in large concrete vats, the wine was bottled without fining or filtration.

Bright ruby red in appearance, on the nose you find bouncy aromas of cranberry, raspberry, licorice, and herb de provence. Silky tannins and nervy acidity on the medium bodied palate are balanced by bursting flavors of grilled plum, black cherry, and olive tapenade. The finish is juicy and lightly spicy.
